Denbigh Hobbies Newport News, VA

Post by aur0ra145 »

Denbigh Hobby has been the last mom and pop shop in the Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area. They are sadly closing as the owner is retiring. They are doing a "Going out of business" sale until his lease is up in March (this is inference from me.) So if you're in the area, they have some deep discounts. He's a super nice guy and they have a lot of kits that are not really seen all that much any more. He has said that he's not reordering paints anymore, so what they have is what they got. As of today, they are atleast 20% off kits, and literally everything is for sale. The display cases, shelves, etc. Just letting people know if they're in the area.

He's got a ton of Dragon, Tamiya, Hasegawa, Border, and a TON of ships. Their aftermarket is okay, and it might be a good time to get those hobby tools that are naturally overpriced.

I'm not much of a car guy; but, he as a decent amount. Also has a LOT of tanks, especially the older one shot versions of stuff.

What you want? For some kits it might be cheaper for me to ship to you.

That's a very kind offer...thank you.
Post from the USA is really over the top though and I haven't bought anything from there since our dollar came off it's highs ages ago. I'd have to get a kit for free to make it worth while. I need to stop buying kits in any case.
Thanks for the offer it was very generous.
