Hello to all, I am just starting out again in model making after an absence of 40 years, as I have now retired I am starting to go get things together so I can get to grips with the hobby again, I have noticed things have moved on since I last did this hobby so looks like I have much to learn.

Welcome back - I find this forum a good place to ask for help.

What are you interested in building?

Hi tg18083
My main interest is in Italian tanks and AFV's of WW1 and WW2.
My previous modeling experience was mainly in remote controlled warships of the late Victorian to first world war.

Hello and welcome to the forum. You found a great place to share as well as learn or get inspiration.

The older RC ships sound intriguing, do you have any photos of them?

Hello Latakia and :welcome: to the ISM forum.

When you get a moment please check out the forum guidelines which can be found ---> here

We'd love to see your work & progress but in order to post photos you will need to host them on an external site such as Flickr and then link to them from the forum. Unfortunately the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.

There is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here

As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here

We also run a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.

Otherwise take a look around and join in, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Have fun!
