Post by RangerNeil »

For those worried about the size of Border Models Lancaster - take a look at this: HPH Models B52 in 1/48

Note the size - and price!!!! :eeek:

    Holy smokes Batman! :jd:

And that's the price for just the base kit. Things like the flaps and rotary launcher look like they are extra and available to buy on their site!

There's some amazing stuff on there. I could build one of those 1/18 engines with a display stand. They look awesome. And how about a 1/32 Catalina?
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Flaps, rotary launcher and bombs - to be honest for over €600 I'd have thought they'd be included!

Catalinas give you 2 options it seems, one of them a cut-away with full interior - which, oddly, is the cheaper of the two. I'd be tempted by one of these - but the house is still recovering from the marital discord the price of the Lancaster caused so......

My plane ticket to Paris for my upcoming vacation cost less then that !! That's too much for a kit. I know it's big and all, as his the Lancaster...but that's way too much money to spend on one kit in my opinion whatever the details on it.
