Cheers guys :th:

So bit of a start today, there is noticeable flash on some of the delicate parts and mold line which is a little disappointing for a new kit

Image

This is the pedals arrangement and as you can see not great :(

Still I pushed on and did a bit of assembly and got the office primed

Image

Cheers for looking

Shame about the flash and mould lines - there should be no excuse for that in this day & age.
But I'm sure you will overcome these issues as usual. :D

Quick update of the office with the Eduard seatbelts added

    Image

    Image

Don't quote me on the colours of dials and switches I simply tried a variety of colours otherwise it's all invisible once the fuselage is together. There are decals if required for the dash.

    Cheers

That's a real shame with the amount of flash they've managed to pack onto those small parts, but the cockpit has come together really nicely regardless :th:

Really comes to life when the decals go on. Its nice to see a different livery from the usual FAA one and the orange nose really stands out.

WOW ! the paint job came out really great ! Nice job !
How was the fit ? Since they was lots of flash in the interior hope the fuselage went down well together.

Not supposed to be on a modeling forum at work    that's why there's a firewall ;)
But you know what ! I'm lucky enough to work from home full time since the pandemic ;) so I can always go on the forum or even squeeze time for a few minutes of modeling ;)

      Take care

Thanks for your comments guys and here's one more photo for you (very definitely not an amateur) Paul

      Image

I've done the panel lining, I've found one by a company called Modellers and its a black brown which looks a little less stark than black. That being said there's an awful lot of rivets on the tail and I'm not sure of the look : I also put an exhaust smudge in with starship filth. Just a matt coat along with the wing lights and pitots to do now

      Cheers

Cheers Paul :thumb1: , the panel lining has come up great. To be honest, I think the tail looks great as well. Cracking job.

So it's now completed, it was an enjoyable kit to build that required a bit of thought to make life easy but otherwise OK.

I've added a picture here of it up against a mk.ix Spit and you can see the size of the beast!
