My Brothers in Arms build in memory of Gary is at last finished.

I chose the 1/72 Hasegawa F-15 DJ in the Fighter Training Group 20th Anniversary scheme, a bit different from the norm and being a trainer aircraft there are no weapons to worry about which is good as they have to be purchased as an extra. Although this boxing is from only a couple of years ago the kit itself is a bit of an old timer but still goes together very nicely.
The kit comes with a multitude of decals including some for the white stripes but those were a bit translucent so I elected to use paint instead. I used Mr colour paints for the main airframe colours and a mixture of Alclad and LPs for everything else. I didn't do much in the way of weathering as the reference photos I found showed it to be very clean.

I don't know if Gary would have approved of the colour scheme or lack of weapons but it still looks like an F15.

Thank you for looking.
