Evenin' All.

I've finished the MPC 1/72 Hawk Mk IX from Space 1999.

The kit went together pretty well & fairly quickly.

Painting was done with my usual combination of Ultimate Primers & Vallejo Model air for the most part.

Everything was given a coat of Aqua gloss followed by a wash & wipe with a black clay wash and then a final couple of coats of UltraMatte to seal it all in.

Finished this Tamiya 1/24 Skyline GT-R V spec II this week. Being a fan of box art schemes I settled on pearl white but with pure white stripes for the more discrete gentlemen racer. The stripes are actually more obvious in the flesh than the photos would suggest. A lovely kit, the only changes I made were replacing the moulded in side indicators with something a little more life like and adding real mesh to the front of the car.
Body is LP 43 Pearl White with GX100 clear and a Smoke and Clear Green mix for the windows and lenses.

Thanks for looking.
