Tamiya 1/48 Fw190 A3 w/winter camo - Work in progress

Hi gents,

After seeing this very cool winter camo scheme below, I could not resist but start a side project to my 1/32 Bf109 F4 (some colours are the same so I should be able to spray at the same time). Since the scheme is from an A4 variant, I decided to go with this simple Tamiya A3 and only replace the antenna mast to ''convert'' it into an A4.

It will of course be OOB, with closed canopy since I am mostly interested in doing justice to this beautiful camo scheme.

I ordered some generic decals online, and some I still have to find.

I don't know if parallel builds are for me at the moment since I don't have much free time, but I just have to do this one, haha.

Let's see how it goes.

Not long after I started this topic I found out that Hasegawa has re-released their Nowotny A4 so I bought it.

In the end it looks like I will be doing this one as proper A3 probably with JG/51 plain white camo:

Yes nice project, winter camouflaged FW 190 are not really popular between the modelers.
