My latest model, the F-104 "Starfighter" in 1:32 by Italeri. In addition to classic photos in front of a white or black background, I also fixed the model in front of a landscape picture and gave it a "flying" effect with a little Photoshop.

Unfortunately, this aircraft is still known in Germany under its nicknames "Widow Maker" or "Flying Coffin" - an indication of the extremely high crash rate in the Bundeswehr. The Luftwaffe lost almost 300 of the approximately 900 machines deployed, and 116 pilots lost their lives. This and the dubious circumstances of the procurement from the US manufacturer Lockheed led to the so-called Starfighter affair.
On the other hand, the Starfighter is not only a legend among flight enthusiasts: it was the first aircraft ever to simultaneously hold the records for top speed (Mach 2.2), maximum flight altitude (31,513 m) and maximum climb rate (244 m/s) (Wiki).

Nice touch of realism on the model, and with the photoshop. It all looks great.
