Father Xmas bought me ?

Post by digger303 »

Which is really code for I had to buy it myself

Image
On assembling I found the cutting wire was square and perpendicular....thank the stars and it cuts beautifully smooth.

This accessory by SHIFTING SANDS my good wife got me after a good push in the right direction.
It comes as a flat pack ( don't they all ) and requires some glue, clamping and alignment. I managed as usual to get one piece not quite right, but it's stuck down now never to move again.
The multi tool
Image
I think I still at least need to get the circle cutter.
:cheers2:

Ps....No room for it in the cave so it' will reluctantly need to be kept in the carpentry area to no doubt accumulate a lot of dust when not in use.

Very nice bits and bobs.

Nothing kit based for me this year. I made a couple of large purchases in the run up to Christmas leaving nothing on Santa's list for the bench. The big man in the red suit still managed to chimney drop a couple of books, a computer game, Top Gun Maverick and assorted bits and bobs.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

I don't know of you meant the thread to be general for everyone... but here's what father xmas brought me...or should I say mother Christmas as in my mom !

I thought it was pretty generous of her ! because the kit isn't that cheap and the tools also !

Definitely general for everyone.
Your mom went all out very generous of her...lovely gifts and all so useful too.
Really like the box art for the Phantom. Bit of a shame it isn't a F-4 as you could plant some Aussie kangaroo's on it...

    Nice gifts everyone

My wife gave me this light. It's nice and bright. Exactly what my old eyes need.

    Neatfi Light

My sons gave me some Tamiya paints, Abteilung oil paints, Top Gun Maverick and the new Ghostbusters movies. They also gave me a Jumanji board game. It's in a wooden box like in the movie. We haven't had the time to play it yet but it looks like it will be a lot of fun.

I gave myself more Abteilung oil paints

I had a great Christmas spent with my family

I did well on the kit front from my folks (although the Miniart label on one of them spooked me after my last encounter :shifty: )
