1:48 Eduard Hellcat “target-tow”

Here’s my version of a Hellcat “target-tow” aircraft.
I used one of the kits from the Eduard 1:48 “dual combo” offering.

The markings are a mixture of Montex masks, stars and bars and “13’s” the rest are “home made”.
Stencils are HGW “wet transfers”, if you get a chance use them, they are excellent!

I based the scheme on one provided by the Eduard Royal Class offering, during the build it was suggested that the aircraft would have been grey rather than blue however I prefferd the blue with yellow and red wings.

Paints were MRP, MrColor, Tamiya and Alkan.
Weathering was AK weathering pencils and 502 Abteilung oils.
