Well, finally das is it! My first 109.

OOB, with PE seatbelts, canopy masks and Quickboost tropical filter.
I made many mistakes from which I have learned for the future.
It is what it is and I'm mostly satisfied with how she turned out. Among other things, I obviously need to work on my canopy painting skills.
I was lazy and just wanted to finish her so the tires are not weighted, although it would definitely look better. Maybe I will do it one day...

I think you've done a cracker of a job. Well done.

Yes despite your humble depreciation of your work I also think it is a cracker. The muted /faded paint, fine scratches, brush work and general blending of the overall colour scheme with the tail being my favourite area. Bring it all together to make it a stand out.
I couldn't see anything about the canopy that could be called lazy. I did wonder about what seems to be a fine line in the centre panels.

As for the canopy, I am not fully satisfied as some transitions from frame to glass are not as sharp and defined as they should be.

The fine lines in the centers of the panels are where the two pieces of glass meet since they could be opened (at least that's what I think from what I saw in reference photos).

As for the antenna, here is the link to work in progress where you can see how I made the tension springs:

For the insulators themselves I just used PVA glue applied with a toothpick and later painted them white. The trickiest part were the insulator aerodynamic shields (or whatever they are called) which I made by melting plastic and then gently pushing it with a sharp toothpick creating a tiny cone. It took many tries but in the end they turned out usable. They are slightly at an angle but it is what it is. Will be better next time. Hope this helps.

I've built their G and that was nice. The F shares a lot of parts with it so I'm hopeful

In a word, yes. If their policy is anything like Facebook's they may have a blanket ban, regardless of context.

You can see the pictures because I made a new post on Imgur, but I am now keeping it under hidden and not public post.

Interesting in a bad way, but I guess the only way around this is to put a mask over these area's. I guess you would only have to cover half the symbol and it would be ok.
