Question about decals

Post by GMahaffey »

Haven't been on in quite a while. I bought the Hasegawa F-15C Collector's Hi-Grade Kit. The decals are quite old and may break apart. I bought some aftermarket decals, specifically the Oregon ANG 173rd Fighter Wing 's 75th anniversary decals. The scales do match, but the decals are for the Tamiya kit. My question is if the decals can be used on any kit, such as designed for Tamiya, but can be used on Hasegawa?

No reason why not. If the scale is right then you're good to go :th:
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

There may be slight differences that will require you to trim or fiddle with them. I did the Revell kit with those markings. I don't see there being any huge issues for you.
