Global Scale Modeller

Here is the finished Fairey Rotodyne. Not the simplest of builds due to the age of the moulds, in turn not helped by having the rear door hinge pins all missing - now sorted by Airfix.
I should note the gap under the cockpit floor is packed with Liquid Metal and the balance is precarious at best. Slightest hint and it will tail sit.
Painted with Tamiya and Humbrol acrylics. The only "extras" added were a set of glazing masks.

Regardless of what you went through, this looks really good. The colors came out great too, especially around the cockpit windows, smart work indeed.
