Global Scale Modeller

This is a thread I thought would never be written! The Mi-V-12 is considered complete now.
* The kit is by Amodel in 1/72 scale.

* Paints used were Tamiya and Humbrol 3rd Gen acrylics.

* The interior of the fuselage, boarding ladder, ramp fingers and ramp extenders were all scratch built

* Figures are by Italeri, missile TEL's are by Trumpeter and the command wagon + auxilliary power unit are by ICM.

Looks great!!!! And the extra shoring looks good sir!

If it's one thing about the Russians it's go big or go home. With those rotors on it's got a really huge foot print and it all looks damn good sir thanks to your patience and skill.

Great finish and what a subject!

Thanks guys.
I'm just glad we got to the finish line without a 1-time diversion into the bin. I've got to admit - it came damn close a few times!!

While it fought you all the way, your tenacity and desire to finish it (to a high standard) speaks well of you. Glad to see it completed and fully operational, great job!

Ben

Last but certainly not least - the BIG SS-25 ICBM TEL that was meant to be tbe Mi-12's main payload.
