Howdy!

Starting on this model. It will be used to play Bolt Action when completed. The scale is 28mm which equates to 1/56 scale. So sorta small; but, not too small. In the realm of not buying new kits, I got this one with a gift card, so mostly free.

Some of the game pieces and data card.

All of the polystyrene in it's glory. I'm rather glad this is made of plastic and not a resin/metal kit which most of their vehicles seem to be.

I'm going with WW2 US markings to go with my paratrooper army I'm slowly building up!

Given the tiny scale and what it's used for,it is pretty nice.

Thanks gents! The over arching idea for this model will be durability. It needs to survive going to and from the game store, and being moved around a lot. So a heavy top coat and maybe minimal weathering effects like mud.

I just heard via a pod cast that Citadel clear is very durable and the preferred of some figure painter/gamers.

:cheers2:

I must have missed that episode, I'm trying to listen to their whole backlog while keeping up with the new ones.
