Fujimi 1/24 scale Audi 90 20v Quattro

For my next model I decided to go for a more simple kit from my stash . This is the fujimi Audi 90 Quattro.


The first job as usual was to wash the pieces and then prime. I then decided that the transfer for this model quite boring so I decided to make some of my own as well as changing the colour of the Quattro badge on the rear window from yellow to red to match the colour of the car.


Then it was onto building pairing the chassis the base colour of this being red to match the body of the car with the front suspension being black and engine and exhaust parts in silver.







Then it was onto building the wheels and attaching them with the supplied metal axle and stick on the exhaust

Nice project!!
One used to be able to order metal decal like the Audi rings from china very cheaply from eBay
Like a cross between photo etch with a sticker and replicated the car’s badges very well

This weekend got back into the Audi and completed it

The first thing I had to do was build up the interior. I decided a cream and black would look good with the red body so that’s what I decided to do.













While all this was drying I painted the black body mouldings. And the front bumper moulding and grill






Then it was onto painting the front and rear lights and sticking the front bumper on and attaching all the finishing parts.






Then it was just the transfers and it is complete
