My model of the Type 97 Chi-Ha tank in 1:35 scale from Tamiya:







This was a Japanese medium tank that was officially introduced in 1937 and used by the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces from 1939 to 1945. A total of 2,200 vehicles were produced. Its unexpected use by the Allies to support infantry in the jungle contributed significantly to the rapid conquest of the Malay Peninsula in 1941/42. However, in combat against tanks, it was hopelessly inferior to its main opponents in the Pacific theater of war from 1944 onwards, especially the M24 Chaffee.
