Making a start on another bike. The kit comes with a rider, however this will be with no rider and 3rd party decals. Its a good kit, with lots of tubing and detail.

We shall see. The 3rd party decals will be an issue as the quality of some of them are very iffy.

As Im building for someone else and have been given the kit, the rider wasn't included, so I havent seem him. They make kits with straight run, cornering, and standing / pushing starting riders. Im surprised you havent seen them. You can also buy the riders as seperate kits, but are fairly rare these days. Id really like to build one of the bikes with the standing pushing rider, maybe a diorama. I think it has a lot of potential.

Big scale, but the bikes are pretty small, so they are nothing like a 1/12 car. Good engine detail on them.



I got stuck in sunday arvo and almost finished the chassis. Still a bit of pe bolt work to be added to the engine. It's looking nice.

Me too, it's an 'imgur' issue. It's bascially pulled the plug for UK users to be able to view content as it can't be bothered jumping through any hoops put up by our fine government's online safety (OSA) measures.

That's a cool build and paint job from an exciting sport. I remember watching those two-stroke monsters at Donnington Park just a little after this era. You didn't so much hear them as feel them. It was totally intoxicating (or perhaps that was the exhaust fumes). The modern machines are four-strokes with a lot of electronics but it's still a heart stopping spectacle. Keep up the good work!

Afraid I have too.... All I'm seeing is purple squares.

EDIT - I turned the VPN on and set it to US hosting and the images were viewable again. However none of the home wi--fi devices will now connect (doorbell, heating thermostat etc.). So for the UK the solution would seem go be install a free VPN and turn it on when using the forum. Once the inages are bisible they remain so unless/until you purge the browser cache.

Why is it that developers and regulators cannot keep the normal use of imaging software more standard on world wide release? I'm thinking it must be one of three things; (1) politics (meaning who's software can do what= power and regional control), (2) would be money (either money to keep up its development, or restrictions to value or de-value the software); (3) ignorance (nobody talking to anyone else to make software compatible across a larger spectrum with other software and networks. This can be multiplied as each new revision is pushed to the market).

Regardless of the images, I'm quite happy that I can see the wonderful work. I sure love those 1/12 Tamiya motorcycles, and you're doing a fine job with this one.
