Decalcas

I don't like to spread negativity normally, but I have just attempted to use some Decalcas decals and they are literally unusable.

I've seen that some people have managed to use them successfully on other builds, so maybe just a bad batch for me, but just a word of warning for others.

I initially followed their very specific instructions to the letter, room temp water, NO decal softeners to be used, no heat etc. But still, I tried a number of different methods to get them off the decal sheet, various water temps from cold to hot, but every time, the decal would just loosen up and immediately curl up on itself, even on the backing sheet.

This isn't my first rodeo with decals, so I'm pretty confident I know what I'm doing, but I just could not use these.

If anyone is old enough to remember those red 'fortune telling' fish you used to get from the fair when you were a kid and you put it in the palm of your hand, then that is exactly how they behaved.

For reference, these were for the Peugeot 205 T16 in case anyone has the same set and is about to try and use them, I hope you fair better than me! I've never seen decals behave like that before, and it's a build I've been looking to for a while, so I was very disappointed, I've ordered some replacements from Decalpool, so hopefully they can get the job done.

I managed to get just one decal into place and even on the paintwork it was trying to unstick itself and curl up. So sadly, I've lost all faith in them, which is a shame as they do cover a lot of unique schemes.
