Howdy!
I'm only 261 days late. Please forgive me.
Here she is! The Airfix 1/48 North American F-86F-40 Sabre! Pretty nice little kit. Only fit issue was an access hatch on the dorsal. Rest of the kit just fell together. Whole thing is painted primarily in Alclad Aircraft Aluminum over Alclad Gloss Black Primer. Nice result I do think. It really stands out sitting next to my more satin finish models. With the ailerons and rudder being molded on different pieces, I was able to cut the decals after placing them to show the gap. I think it's a pretty good result overall. Ended up going with no weathering. Mainly because I didn't want to harm the paint job.
Thanks for looking!
