My first ever SIG is an old kit and also my first ever helicopter build. This is an old Revell kit I have had since the last century. Here are the first photos.

Nice, I love working with old models (only if they cooperate). Never built the Hind. Might be something to look into.

Thanks all, for an older kit it has been pretty cooperative. The weathering has turned out better than I could have hoped. I've got a lot more to learn and all the members have been a great help

My first attempt at freehand camo, not too bad, still need practice though. Any hints to tips...anyone?

Look,s OK to me, maybe thin the paint a little more and air pressure about 15 psi, do the outline in close with the needle hardly open then bring the brush away from the kit and open the needle more to fill in the rest. The key is to build up the colour in fine coat,s, other than that your fine , cheer,s Dave.
