Hello forum modellers.

Though I should share my build of this kit and I hope it´s somewhat interesting.

Otherwise here comes some normal pictures of the progress so far.

Some of the wheel and suspension assembly done



The Wheels



Completed lower hull with PE



Started the upper hull



glued the upper hull and engine decks to the lower hull



Thats it for today and hopefully I get some time during the week to build and take pics and make a video.

Great work so far man! The T-90 is really branching out into all of the different manufacturers. Can't wait to see more!!!

So finally another update for this build, I had a busy weekend and week so not much done sadly but anyway here goes.

The rear is done with the unditching log and fuel barrel holders in place



Rear plate mounted on the lower hull



Right side and they arent glued in place as you will have trouble with wheels and tracks if you do.



Left side with the AC unit ? (I think)



Front fenders gets some more details



So this is where she sits now



Next up is some more PE detail on the sides and also the lines for the fuel drums. After that its time for the turret so even more PE

Video Build update will probably come during the weekend with more detailed explanations.

Nice progress mate! The details on the hull are amazing but all this tiny PE would make me crazy if I would have to do them ! Excellent job so far. Keep on watching your progress...

Yea my sanity went out the window a week ago

The scary thing is it has barely made a dent in the 3 PE sprues that is in the box so there is alot left .

But it makes the kit look the part so i´m happy to do it

Tremendous progress dude!!!

That thing on the left side is the exhaust. To create a smokescreen they shoot diesel into the exhaust which creates a massive smoke cloud.

MY GOD ! My NEW KIT !

I have a Zvezda T-90 on the way (cuz they are 21$) but I am getting this Puppy !

You wont regret getting this kit Norm. So far its been a wonderful build.

So let´s continue where we left off last time.

Fuel barrels were mounted but nothing more so here we have the fuel lines added to the tank.



Next up time for some towing cables. There is 2 of them and 1 goes between the fenders and one wraps around the fuel barrel holders and foes under them to the lower hull.



Here is the final PE parts added to the lower hull and that actually completes the lower hull for now so after this its Turret time



Added all the 93 PE bolts and the gun mantlet and the Shtora "eyes" that is used to interrupt the laser control systems on incoming missiles. Some of the reactive armor added aswell.

These parts make up one of the hatches.



And this is where the turret sits now.Added all the Kontakt 5 armor block on the top of the turret and the rest of the time really went to building the parts infront of the turret, they are being added in the next stages of building so alot of parts on those also.

Yea there is som videos on Youtube of the real thing jumping and shooting and landing and shooting. I think its meant to show off the easy firing system it uses and also the suspension on it thats supposed to be really good.

Looking great so far... Keep on keeping on!!

So time for another update for you guys.

We left off with the turret rather clean except all those PE bolts and some small stuff added. This time we are adding the rest to it so lets start.

Smoke dischargers added and alot more stuff so just gonna show some pics of the turret from different angles so you can see the stuff thats on it.











Next up is the remote controlled gun station and that had alot of parts aswell so here are some pics of that one









The last 2 pieces added to the back of the turret.

So I actually managed to complete the building phase this day so here are some pictures of the completed kit without tracks and the sides.









I´m gonna use on of these for the first time on this tank so we´ll see how they work out.



I´m also ordering aftermarket tracks for this build simply because I think the kist deserves something better then what they sent. Trumpeter produced a beatiful tank so the tracks gotta fit it.

This is really fiddly mate .

I agree Trumpeter has gone to a new level in their kits, they piece together real easy aswell so it was a joy to build it.

Sorry for the lack of updates Guys, for some bizarre reason I decided to tear my entire man cave to pieces and rearrange the entire thing during 2 builds

and my wife is due today with our third child so already been one trip to hospital for checks. Updates will come when I got a hobby room again which is almost complete actually.

A little sneak peak of what i´ve been up to and tonights work , or rather the entire afternoon have been the friul tracks.
First time i´ve tried em, first time for many things but I think they are awesome.
