WW II Medium/Heavy Bomber SIG build?

Hi.. I would like to see if there is any interest in a WWII bomber SIG..any medium/heavy bomber...any scale, any airforce. A few rules are that it was used in WWII and it cannot be a fighter/bomber or torpedo bomber.

I.E a dedicated airplane whose sole purpose was to drop bombs, and classified as a medium or heavy bomber.

Some examples of each type are listed at the following links..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medium_bomber
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_bomber

Was thinking we could start in the new year.

I'm interested in something like this myself, but it'll have to be when there's a free spot for a sig as there's a few running on the forum already (and we don't want hundreds of GB and sigs running amok lol) :thumb2:

Absolutely Paul..That's why I was thinking 1st or 2nd quarter of next year.

Just wanted to gauge interest and if there was, get it in the que.

Looks like Accurate miniatures and Revell/Monogram make or made 1/48 scale of the B25..some of the variants show the 8 MG you are wanting, I think it's the "Accurate" Kit

Ebay has quite a few up for sale right now.

Think I'd be up for this one but personally would prefer 2nd quarter of 2014 to get a practice model under my belt first as its been 20 years since the last one!

I've got a 1:72 Revell Lanc and an Airfix 1:72 Dambuster I could do for this one.

Regards Dave.

I've got the 1/32 heinkel from revell to do for a friend so I'm looking forward to this. Thing is he is itching for me to start so first quarter of 2014 would be ace.

I have a few to choose from but I'd proably go with a Monogram 1/48th B 24.
