Bell X-1 Rocket Plane

Today I finished applying decals to this kit. I had put this on the shelf for a bit as, somewhat disappointingly I had messed up the paint job (part of the learning process I guess). However I thought it would be a nice exercise at applying decals. I did mess up 1 small stencil by the hatch but everything went reasonably well.

These are the results, admittedly it looks a little better in photographs than how it appears in person

I think I'm going to try again with this kit in it's landed configuration.

On my PC it looks great, but the point you made about the learning process is bang on, many builds over the years i have looked back on as said i could do differently, but to be fair this looks great im more into armour but i can now see the attraction of flight .
