Can anyone recommend the best kit to build of a p-38 lightning 1/48 scale?

The Academy kits are meant to be pretty decent and if you can run to it Eduard do a couple of Limited Edition versions with resin, PE and masks such as this one here http://www.eduard.com/store/Eduard/Plas ... html?cur=1. Nige did a build of the base kit which is on the forum here http://www.intscalemodeller.com/viewtop ... =45&t=2175. Hope this helps.

The academy one went together really well no fit issues at all and good detail in the cockpit and the panel lines were very crisp all for £17 only down side where the decals a little to thin if im honest but if your careful they go on really well would highly recommend it
