1/35 Tamiya Challenger 1 Mk.3 Gulf War/Op. Granby

Hey guys,

I hope everyone is doing well. Life has gotten a little crazy, so I haven't had as much time to model. Here are some pics of my Tamiya Challenger 1 MK.3. It's a great kit and pretty easy. I'm experimenting with some different weathering techniques and some different ways to make tarps/stowage, so it's not done yet. A few bits and pieces need to be added here and there.

This is also my first time using oil paints to create different shades, fading, and color modulation. I don't really have a place with great lighting to pic up all the color modulation and different tones, but you can sort of see it. This is my second model, so it's far from perfect - but I'm having tons of fun.

Markus - thanks my friend - I realized halfway through weathering the tracks that the additional side armor basically hides 80% of the tracks lol - whoops

Thanks Coen! I appreciate it buddy. I'm still trying to get the hang of all these weathering techniques, especially chipping. I need to buy a smaller brush I think.
