What to do with this HMMWV (Humvee)

So I have a question for you fine gentlemen...What to do with this Highly Mobile Multi Wheeled Vehicle. I've had this model gathering dust for a while now and I can't think of what to do with it.

As you can see it's completely built and painted and the only other step is weathering. And I want you guys to choose what I do in the future. I can keep it nice and clean, I could make it lightly used, I could make it look like it was just stuck in a mud-pit, or I could put it with another kit.

If you guys think of anything else that could be done to the humvee be sure to share!!

That's definitely going to happen, but not with this humvee sadly. I think that that will take a build from the ground up. With all of the paint already on this humvee I wouldn't want to do any major to the construction of this kit. But be certain, that spec ops humvee will be on ISM soon enough.

Speaking of Spec ops humvee:

That's a good one Yank.
I don't know nearly enough about Humvees to really say much... But I'm thinking Generation X the TV show diorama.

Is that HBO's Generation Kill ? now thats a good idea for GB building the HMMV's of the series :thumb2:

Yank - great minds think alike I'm debating to myself if I want to start buying the kits to build one or kits for a dio I been wanting to build for ages...oh decisions hahah

cheers

You could choose the TOW Israeli one or one of the US spec ops ones, either way you got a winner.

In all seriousness though, a soft-skinned GB would be awesome. There could be the humvees, SAS Landrovers, SAS Jeeps, Isreali jeeps, US jeeps, deuce and a halfs, and heavy haulers.

...I think I just stepped on an GB landmine :walk: :eeek: :boom:

Theres just on word for these beasts...SEXY

I suggested a SF group build on the suggestion thread for GB's any excuse to build those badass looking machines, and the sets for the SAS Pink Panther is another gorgeous looking model

WOW!!! :jd:
Maybe not now... but a month or two from now I'd be considering joining a soft skinned GB.
Those look completely awesome.

I'd agree with putting it off for a month or two. I still need to finish both the Honor our Heroes GB and the Cold War GB. But when those are done I'd be delighted with starting this awesome GB.

So... where did they think that they were going?
There's not even the remotest glimmer of a roadway there.

Since when does there need to be a road? It's a humvee we don't need no stinking roads :apc:

I would put it in a diorama in Mogadishu (black hawk down) with it torn up
Basically Shane's idea

Paint it pink and enter it into the "Cancer Awareness GB"! Those army figures would look good in pink!
