Figure went AWOL

Post by NovYank »

So I've cleaned out my modelling area in preparation for the upcoming day of gifts...aka Christmas. This time I found something interesting. No, it's no buried treasure or the long lost city of Atlantis.

Instead it was this little guy. He's a sound man that came in a Verlinden figure set with cameraman and sound guy.

Now I have a problem, I can't find the camera guy. I remember building the sound guy completely, it was my first experience with resin, and I remember gluing the legs to the cameraman's body and then giving up and letting the build resume another day. Needless to say I quickly forgot about the two and let them become professional dust collectors.

Bad news is this is all that remains of the camera guy....

I sent a search party for the rest of him but they haven't reported back yet... it doesn't look good gents.

So I'm thinking I'm going to put the camera on the sound guy and have him posing the mic on something.

If you can't find the body, it could work in to a fantastic diorama. Simply replace his legs and torso with a bush, sort of a peeping tom, kinky photographer.... :P

This might be well for a cold-war diorama, You could transform the mic from the built guy into a Geiger counter :)
