I'd personally use oils as they have more play, and I'd go for a couple of shades of russet. I'd give it a sepia wash and maybe a few pieces of yellow sprue for the authentic pineapple cube feel.

Ok, a couple of things.
1. The kits are weird, they make afv with pink school girl decals, 12th scale school desks and many many other random things.

2. (Ignoring the obvious number 2 puns) On my last trip to japan the change of diet was having a not entirely unexpected effect so we jumped off the subway and I walked slowly and carefully to the conveniences hoping it was like most of them which have at least 1 'European' and 1 'traditional' but my upset stomach became a complete feeling of upset as the lack of 'European' style facilities became horribly evident.
All I can say is that it is worse than any portaloo or nightclub bathroom at 3am I have ever been in.

Thankfully the fancy electronic ones are far more common in hotels and stores but they have their own level of weird I won't go into

Damn I actually know some people who watch that 'girls und panzer' crap. And he calls me a warmonger...
