Global Scale Modeller

This is a model called 'The Sanguinor' from the Games Workshop Range. A wonderfully detailed model that was a joy to paint though to be honest I'm not sure the photo shows the model at its best. I basecoated the model first black acrylic paint then the figure was basecoated a dark brown to help support the gold armour and the the wings were basecoated with a dark blue. The armour was built up a number of metalic paints available from the Games Workshop range as were the wings but using off whites and a carefully applied browm wash.

Looks good, nicely done.

looks fantastic, the camera can be harsh on some models, but the truth is this is art and you can tell just by looking at the intricate details, very nice indeed.
