Chrome removal help.

I have a couple of Tamiya 1/48 F-84G's and most of the sprues are in a chrome/nmf finish.

What is the best way to remove the chrome/nmf off the sprues?

Oven cleaner spray and leave in a bag :th:

Bleach works great as well.
