Unfortunately they are closing down, shutting up shop middle of May i believe. Mr Jamieson is retiring. He has been at their current location for the last 20 years, will be sadly missed.

Jaimisons in Glasgow will be closing soon ....Ian Scott who works in the shop is opening a shop in Glasgow this is the Facebook page for it.

That's handy that it's open on a Sunday, I'm sometimes in Glasgow on a Sunday afternoon, so must make a visit sometime

There's another one in Glasgow that I go to now and then - Wildcat Models on Dumbarton Road. Nice wee shop with a decent range and the owner is really welcoming and helpful. Website is under construction but there's a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/wildcatmodels

Never been into Wildcat, but been into Scotts models a good few times, great friendly guy who runs it, always good for a chat.

I was in Scott's models last week, great wee shop,very helpful fella in there and to cap it all off he does discount if you hold a defence discount card
