M10 Tank Destroyer questions

Does anyone know where I can find resources on what color certain tanks were primed with so I can know what color I should use when applying paint chipping.

Seems to be Red Oxide Primer and the U.S. tank's paint was very durable and not prone to chipping. I'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks for the link!

Either red oxide, or grey. It depends where the vehicle was made, and what time within the war it was made. Later vehicles tended to be primed grey I believe.
