Hey everyone!!!
Wow, I'm so behind on posting my photos and and model, I almost feel shame :(

But I will anyways!! I definitely started it a little while ago but got caught up in work and other projects...
I saw a photo of this plane not too long ago and really wanted to give it a shot. This was a very difficult model to track down as Academy has since discontinued it. So if you can, I'd suggest picking one up for your stash before that disappear completely.

Here are the photos.

Here are the decals that came with the model.

These are the ones I'll be using...

Here are the instructions

I've put the cockpit together - nothing too crazy here. The AM cockpit kit might have been a great addition, but for the moment, I'm perfectly happy with what comes with... except the seats, they're pretty boring, will definitely have to add at least seat-belts.

Here's the wing section. Except for over-sanding in some places, fit is great! Will fix it up with some more sanding :P

That's all for now - last night I primed the cockpit and will do some painting later today to get more of a move on with this project. It's sat on my shelf for too long and needs finishing.

Great photographs Mikey, and one for me to follow along and see what you can do with this bird.

Here's the tiny gap that will require some TLC over the weekend.

Wet base coat of Tamiya Nato Black

base coat dried, then I dry brushed the instruments... I'm really not sure if I'm going to be doing much more to it though (other than the seats of course) ... too tiny for my eyes, I definitely see the benefit of PE parts now though, or even decals...
