Monogram B-17G Flying fortress

Ahoy
Here is another build I finished up on 4 months ago I had this kit for years since its first release in 1975 this makes my 30th Build. somehow you cant get enough of the flying fortress. I built this straight out of the box SOB. The only thing I done that's differ from the out of the box is opening up the bomb bay doors. I wished that monogram could have gave us modelers that option but to keep the price down at that time for a cost of $8.50 the bomb bay was left alone only for the challenge by the model builder himself. Here is my 1/48 scale B-17 thank you guys for all of your wonderful comments on my collections.

Great work, Frankie. I love the B-17, but there only seems to be one kit option by Revell or Revell/Monogram, which as you know, have their fit issues. I sure wish other kit makers would pick this one up.

Anyone looking to do a B-17, the academy 1/72nd is a great model. Sadly it's a victim of being my very first model, but someone with proper skills would find it a dream to build.
