Global Scale Modeller

The classic Heller kit in two different versions, a SH37 (AJSH 37?) and a SK37 trainer.
I used aftermarket decals on these birds, other than that they are built OOb with nothing extra added.

Allthough Im a WWII nerd, the J37 "Viggen" (= Thunderbolt or more accurately translated thunderclap) is my uncontested favorite plane. Very nice to see two at the same time and also in my favorite splinter camo.
Did You know that some of the first J37s were bare metal?
They were so anxious to get them in the air there was no time to wait for painting...
The only remaining flying Viggen that belongs to Swedish Historic Flight, is actually a bare metal one.
I cannot Think of another plane which have a more suitable name.
If You have seen a J37 (or Heard!) You know what I mean. Its a big plane since its basically built around the monstrous RM8 Engine.
(A licence build P&W JT8D, Volvo aero Engines also constructed and added the afterburner to spice it up)

(You will also see why they had the forrest splinter camo...takes some skill to land a big fighter in the middle of the woods)

Thank you gentlemen all.... and what a great video, Patrick!! The Viggen is known as the modellers nightmare, when it comes to painting it.. did these two freehand as there's no way I was going to mask all that lot! I guess that is one of the advantages of being a brushpainter..
