Hey fellows!

I got this kit a short while ago because i realised it is the reissue of the first kit i ever built! I had to get this one and do a little nostalgia project.
The kit is not that bad for an old late 70´s Heller tooling, but you will certainly need some filler and sanding sticks. Raised panel lines are also not a cool thing.
However, the result looks pretty neat, i like it.

Thats looks good Michael, these old kits can turn out nice with a bit of time, patience and effort.

I know you are now beaming with delight as i finally built a dreadful, terrible, crappy, ugly, old, cheap, reboxed Heller kit. The only thing missing is the good old hairy stick, i did it the new fashioned way with a fancy airbrush. I see how much work you put into your models and i´m deeply impressed once more by your skills sir! i experienced it myself how tedious it is, but i also saw how fun it is aswell! it was something far away from my comfort zone and i´m very pleased with the result

i think the Airfix and Heller tooling is very similar, if not the same.

I will have to sneak a peek at the videos on Youtube where I can leave a comment.. But not today, I need to write a letter for a job application next, and drop by work to deliver it, so that's where my time by the computer will go as far as today is concerned!

But I'm almost drooling at the thought of watching you suffer... erh.. hm.. BUILD a Heller kit!! As I no doubt have told you I'm sitting on two of these beauties, both original Heller boxings. One has the swastikas included on the decal sheet, the other one has them taken out.. go figure!

I think the Airfix kit is different to the Heller kit.. and not as good, from what I have heard! But I may well be wrong, have never seen the actual Airfix kit so can only go by what I have heard or read online..
