I made mine as did lee, very simple using some 2x1 and mdf or plywood (mine are mdf).

If you are lazy, like me, I found an excellent site for getting some paint stands and other stuff. Not that expensive imo.
Almost bought that ship building thingie while I were at it, I have no idea how it works since I don't build wooden boats (or plastic ones) but it looked really cool, haha.

Well I recently got a wild hair to get organized and I bought a plastic shelving from amazon.com. In truth, it was made for nail polish; yet it holds my paint bottles perfectly. It was about $28 and it holds 96 bottles.

I saw these and thought they'd make good paint holders. They were clear acrylic and would've look good with LED lighting. Problem was I needed 12 of them to accommodate all my pain!, ended up be rather expensive!

I have 5 of the stepped nail polish racks and I have them lined up on top of some A4 size drawers that I use for other tools. And 1 of the wall hanging type above the spray booth with other odds and ends like thinner etc.

This is something I need badly.

I'm kinda lazy too for making my own, but after house renovations here and much DIY and looking at the high prices for (admittedly) good custom made racks on Ebay and elsewhere I'm going to make my own soon, will need to be vertical and of little depth for space saving ... even looked at spice racks for the kitchen but none seem to be just the right depth for my various paints.

Will definitely make one soon.

Looks like they will hold 8 Tamiya pots per shelf, so 16 in each. 21 or 22 of the smaller diameter (Vallejo, etc) bottles.

That hobbyzone shop is dirt cheap for shelves. Anyone used them to ship to the UK? Does it take long?

ill be keen to see what you think og the drawers ForbesHutton as i've seen them and thought thy would be handy for the stuff that I dont use as often but is good to have together like washes and filters.
