Hi all, I am starting new project and to push me little forward I am posting 1st photos from the build. I bought this kit with Eduards photo-etched parts included and I will upgrade it with CMK set of barrel and resin body.

Sooo, thank you guys for interest. I have made today some progress. I was working on the shields and on Flak. Sometimes I was going mad about the Eduard parts, because they are so tiny. Mainly the Flak shield. Side of each shield consist of 4 separate wing nuts.

This is really shaping up to be a great build, i like the resin parts and the photo-etch, the wing nuts must have been a pain but worth it, i have some to build myself but they are for 1/16 and are a pain.

Photos of the Flak. I made the basket from the photo etched parts and it was incredibly hard, but again worth the effort.

The build is running incredibly quick... I made today in the morning the priming with the Vallejo primer. I like it very much and the work with it is nice.

And several minutes ago I finished with the basic color of german dunkelgelb. All colors will be from Vallejo model air collection.

Great job, I am following this one with interest. Nice photos as well.
My next build will be the fairly old, poor quality ESCI Sdkfz 10/4 with 2cm Flak ...
Cheers !

So you will be making the same kit. All of these kits, Italeri and Revell, are the same molds from ESCI. It is only repacked. You can see it in thread of build from Schoof.

Ah, thanks for that. Well, the Esci one looks horrible even on the sprues, lots of flash etc. I've read that even some parts will hardly fit together. Will cover that with mud and snow then ...

I did not have as much fitting problems as I expected. Although there are some places, where filler was needed. Mainly because of the etched parts.
I will check the forum for your build. When do you plan to start with it?
