Ok, hereby I announce I just cannot build aircraft properly! It's ALWAYS something I mess up while trying to paint and/or just do anything with these things, haha.
I have this Hasegawa kit, probably old, flash and poor fitting pieces everywhere. I finally get all things together, but, making a few masking misstakes I had to repaint some things. No problem.. until, all the paint start to peel off. Bah, must have forgot wash it before priming...

Well, got myself another aircraft for airbrush testing or to be trashed into million pieces by my kid, hehe.

I better get starting with something proper to build instead, like a tank!

I used to build aircraft a lot, but I switched to armor because I couldn't stand the 100 decals I had to apply

No shame in admitting that aircraft are not for you.
Give some AFV or something else a shot and you will likely find yaself back round at aircraft with some new skills.

Best way to get better at this hobby it to stretch yaself and try something different, you would be amazed (amazed might be a bit strong) how many of the skills and techniques are interchangeable between genres

Yep a car kit or bike kit (I love bike kits) will pay off in your modelling skills

Been there and done that. Just do something else and come back to aircraft later. You will have better luck.

Yes switch to armour it's better in every possible way!

1. Not as much filling
2. Very few clear bits
3. A lot less decals
4. PE is fun
5. Easier weathering
6. Some can even fly if that's your thing

Armor isn't really better, just 'easier' sometimes.
I often fail at building aircraft, my awe to the modellers who build fantastic aircraft

Right, I looked at the model again, looks like I have to strip all paint, which means masking the canopy again..
So, trash bin!
Now, I'm waiting for a kit for the steel rain sig but it seems to be lost in the postal office or something... Or I could start right away with a M3 lee, which means I probably can't be on the sig.... Decisions, decisions...

I'm exactly the same I always make mistakes whether its the cannopy the paint or breaking something. But I'm slowly getting better. Having trouble with vallejos primer at the moment its either to thick or to thin! But for some reason I love it!

Armour is nice....If you mess up.........
you can always cover it either in mud or just make the model as destroyed in battle
