1:72 US WWII Armament?

Post by ScaleModelling1105 »

Hi guys,
I've been planning for the bombers gb and i'm entering the apparently very popular 1:72 b-17g. I want to make mine stand out by making a diorama for it. Unfortunately I can't find any ground vehicles of the era and nation in the correct scale. Academy do exactly what I want but only in 1:48 which is very annoying. I was wondering if any of you guys know where I can get some small vehicles and bomb carrying carts etc. I live in the UK so ideally a UK website. I'm not too fussed if they come with or without crew as I think they're easier to find.
Cheers,
Will Hall

Hi Will, You need the AIRFIX HO/OO WW2 USAAF GROUNDCREW for bomb carts and crew.
I had some of these and they are old, yellow soft plastic but do include some small bombs and a couple of carts and personnel pulling the carts and holding the bombs on..

Also this set is still available on ebay...
