1937 Ford Street Rod Pickup

Post by Piatchie »

After years of wanting to return to the hobby I finally have! I purchased a Kit at a local retailer of a 1937 Ford Pickup. Once I got home and opened the box, I realized the kit gave me 2 options. A Standard Stock Model, or a Street Rod Model! Of course, I chose the later! (not gonna lie, the surfboard and theme played a big part in this decision!) So far the model is going well. Im happy with the results and am planning to do a Beach theme diorama to go with it once I get it done! Please keep in mind this is my first build in about 17 years. Models have come a long way, but I don't think my skills have! Would appreciate any feedback/tips you may have to offer!

The Kit:

The start of the Motor. I decided the FlatHeads should be red! I love that you can pick out the Edelbrock logo!

Pretty happy with how it came out!
