1/72 Captured German Spitfire

Hi guys just finished this little kit with a little modification.
This is a captured spitfire mk5 with a DB-605 engine use in messersmitts. The history around it is very interesting.
The germans thought there engine could make the spitfire much better and run all these tests on it.
Very interesting subject for me to do

I have seen this done before, the "Messerspit". Did you use a conversion for it? The join between the Spit fuselage and the DB engine looks really good.
Nice paint work as well mate, good job!

Nicely done!
It's funny, but when I see captured aircraft in their opponents colours, it has the same effect on my brain as trying to rub my stomach whilst trying to pat my head!!!
