Hi Guys, Sorry, once, again, for asking what must be the most basic of questions but what is the difference between Micro-Set, Micro-Sol and Micro Decal Film, are they all required for the application of Decals or can they be used on their own? I am sure that Paul's 'aircraft modelling techniques' guides will cover the subject but I am gathering together a fresh set of modelling tools and materials since returning to the hobby. Thanks Guys

Hi ian, that video should be up over the next week or so

The decal film is for use with printable decal paper as a sealing solution, when printing your own decals.

The micro set i tend to mix a little in luke warm water (just a tiny amount) that i then put the decals in, you can brush it on where needed but i find that unnecessary.

Once the decal has been placed on the model i let it set a little before applying the micro sol with a brush, this is then left to dry and re applied if needed.

Nothing I can really add to what Paul has said, other than I can thoroughly recommend the MicroScale products. I've tried other brands in the past for decals, but much prefer Micro Set & Micro Sol.

Just a quick tip with the set and sol so you don't go nut's (like i did) trying to remember which is which. Just remember you use them in alphabetical order

I was confused as well wrt which order to use them as well. I was tired of going back over videos so I numbered my caps 1 & 2, solved that problem nicely
