Airfix 1:72 Douglas A-4B Skyhawk

Hi guys. I finished this yesterday. I'm really happy with the result. Sorry i forgot to post pics of latter stages on the wip page. This was my first go at using Ultimate washes, microscale accessories (set, sol and kristal klear) and pledge multi surface wax. This was also a first for me as i built it with the gear up. I was going to buy a pack of stands from hobbycraft but they discontinued them so i made my own. I'll probably cover up the insulation foam with something whether it be pictures or white paper.
If the canopy looks like it has a cloudy patch it's a fingerprint which has now been removed.
I went for a dirtyish look on this as you can clearly see on the underside.
You may notice there should be a decal on the intakes which is a red triangle saing 'danger'. this decal was very poorly designed and had no hope of fitting as the intakes curve towards the front yet the lines on the decal were straight. Hence, i left it off.
