Putting this one together for a bit of fun and a painting/weathering exercise. I haven't built armour for about 7 years, and didn't finish any then.

This was one of the first kits I tried when getting into the hobby and wow your showing what this kit can be.

Cheers Guys,
The grey section on the inside was starting to look like the insides of a Muck Spreader. I went a bit heavy so I had to tone it back a bit with the original colour.
Patience, respecting stages and knowing what I can do/what can be done with the products at hand is what i'm looking at for the exterior.
Oils and pastels, I already had, never used oils on a model though, and I went out and got some Tamiya Enamels to try out. I'm going to attempt to follow instructions/guidelines, and not get to excited and smash it all on at once.
Cheers again.

Looking good. I built this kit many moons ago as a kid, enjoyed it then if I remember.

Looking forward to seeing the finished article.

Finished. No basing or diorama, maybe later. I have an Italleri Pak 38 AT gun that I've built in the towed position which i'll use a bit further down the track.

That looks great Russ, once you add the PAK to it you know that it will scream for a vignette. haha.

I had an additional idea of what to do with it...., then I added horses....., then additional figures were needed....., and then I thought settle down Russ. I have the Dragon kit, I may build that and do a side by side.

very nice russ. I especially like the attention to the interior chipping looks great. I thought about picking this kit up the other day. How did you find the tracks on this?

Hey Fred, the tracks were vinyl/rubber type things, tab connect rather than pins through holes and melt shut. I used Super Glue to attach them to the tops of the wheels (with wedges between track and fender), otherwise you lose the track under the fender.
