Great source for thin wires

Post by kiwigav »

Ho guys thought this might be a useful resource for thin wires for adding detail to engine bays or hydraulic lines

Old Printer cables

Strip them open to find some nice fine wires in a good range of colours

You can also do this with old SATA/PATA cables and ethernet cables.

Nice idea, I guess any old cable can be butchered.

If I want really thin wire I go rooting around the only one ear works headphone drawer.

This is a great idea! I have several old cables that I will never use. Until now. Thanks for sharing this tip.
