Tamiya 1/32 p51D mustang

Post by davidowers »

these are the pictures of my finished p51D mustang hope you enjoy

Image

Image

this is the gun bay sorry its not very clear but every fifth round was painted red to indicate a tracer round

Image

the beautiful roll Royce merlin recreated by Tamiya with excellent detail it is a kit in its self

Image

every control panel on this model is workable/ movable the elevators , rudder, landing flaps and ailerons.

Image

paints used was Tamiya acrylics mainly for the cockpit and littler pieces in the fuselage and Mr Hobby Mr metal colour stainless was used on the body work and was buffed the merlin was painter with Mr hobby again but it was dark iron which I used my finger do buff raised surface detail. overall this is an excellent model and was well worth the money and such an enjoyable build .
