I bought this some time ago after I found this forum and Pauls technique tutorials. Thought it would be a good subject to do as a first plane in a lot of years. I'm building this as a sort of test piece for my bomber group build. I have started with the cockpit which has been painted Vallejo RLM02 and detail painted some of the parts in black and grey. When this was done I added a pin wash using Mig 502 Abteilung Starship Filth oil paint. It's a dark grey green color that I think worked well with the RLM02. The reason for using this was that I thought black might give a bit much contrast and I didn't want to have it look to dirty. I also added a small amount of Ultimate Sand wash to the floor to add a bit more detail, when this was done the parts where given a dry brushing using Tamiya X-11. As it stands the dry brushing is the only thing I'm not really satisfied with, never been able to do it well so i guess I need some more practice. But I think this will stay the way it is and just continue with the next step.
