Nice work station mate I'll be updating mine soon for more space even though i havent much to play with lol

Nice little setup you've got there. Is that a draw you've got your Vallejo's in?

I need to stock up on my paints, takes ages to get a good collection together, there not exactly cheap

No Lee they are in a tool box mate, not ideal because it takes about 5 minutes to find the right one.
My Tamiya and Tamiya enamels and others are on display.

Nice one mate, can't beat a nice organised work area

I've edited this thread so everyone can post pictures of their work area in here.

Love to see people's work areas so please feel free to post some pics.

I'll post my mancave build once a few things have been updated I it on tuesday

All the boxes were moved away and converted
To a shelf on the back wall!

I regained a lot of room that way !

The whole room is my Man Cave! LOL

Man, one day I will be able to have a dedicated room/shed/attic space or the like which I can tailor to my exact modelling needs. At the moment I have my trusty computer desk in the bedroom with which I have to make do. Can sort a picture out later on.

Thankfully we should be moving from the small one bedroom flat soon, and then we will be able to get somewhere that I can have a proper modelling area in. Although I may have a period of living at my parents again before that happens, but its going to happen!

I am VERY jealous of you all.
from the outside my 'man cave' looks impressive.
but I have very little room, the power isn't hooked up yet am surrounded by boxes, a washing machine, dishwasher etc.....

A good weekend of work and you'll have that place sorted

It will be sorted when the 4 of us move out of the 2 bedroom bungalow we are currently shoehorned into. Anyone got a spare house I can borrow?

So here is a pic of my workspace. Its not quite as small as it looks, but I would certainly love an area much bigger! The keyboard tray that holds my painting/modelling mat is a bit low really, but there isn't enough space on the higher desk part to use due to the computer. I used to have one of the large IKEA corner desks at my parents house which had loads of space, but it was given to my uncle.

This is my mancave/modelling area. The picture was obviously taken around Christmas, the cave is pretty much the same minus the tree and decorations.

So do you currently have a work area luis, its great that you gave up your work area for you family dude but I hope you still have somewhere to work from buddy.

i dont have a workspace

if i want to build a model i put some old newspapers on the table, and get all my modelling stuff from my bedroom
i would love to have a workspace but there are no rooms left in the house for one xD

Some amazing setups there. The best thing about this hobby is you dont need to spend a fortune setting up a space to turn out amazing kits.
My workspace is going to get a rearrange next weekend, although im nervous to change what is working for me but its getting crowded out with paints/tools etc etc and I want to be able to work without having to cleanup after ever session.

Ill get some before and after pics when i bite the bullet on this one.

Part of me is itching to move from here into a new place (not likely to happen for several months yet) as one of the conditions I have with my girlfriend when we look at new places, is that either there is a spare bedroom, or box room, or somewhere that I can turn into a dedicated man cave. A place I can safely store my airsoft kit, mountain biking kit, and have a decent desk/storage/display set up for modelling.

It is really great to see some very simple but effective modeling areas all the way up to purpose built dens.

It's still a work in progress, but hopefully, in a couple of weeks it will be all finished and I can start rebuilding my desks and shelving.





Now all painted and waiting for the floor and ceiling to be delivered

My work are or cave, as we are in a 1 bed flat, I have a small are of the lounge and the wife the other but I think I just about squeeze everything in, the extractor fan was he best thing as it takes away the fumes etc, the misses just has to crank up the surround sound a bit when the compressor and the fan is going
